Diana: The Killing of a princessDiana: The Killing of a princess

by Nicholas Davies

In 2001, my contacts within the intelligence services, who had corroborated with me on other books, informed me that the death of Princess Diana had been no accident. These contacts informed me that Diana's killing had been organized and carried out by MI5 with the assistance of the French D.S.T. - La Direction de la Surveillance du Territoire - the French equivalent of MI5.

This book is the result of the investigations I have since carried out, both in France and the United Kingdom, in a bid to discover all the circumstances surrounding Princess Diana's death and to substantiate the reasons why it was considered necessary by those in charge of British security to order her killing.

The real story by Nicholas Davies
Earlier this year I was invited to Scotland Yard and asked to give evidence
to the team and explain to them the reasons why I believed Princess Diana
had been killed by British security forces. During an interview lasting
several hours, I explained how I had been told Diana's killing was
planned and executed. I readily gave them the evidence I had collated in
researching this book.

The interview was taped.

Wallis Simpson's DiaryWallis Simpson's Diary
HARDBACK

Edited by Helen Batting

The Public Records Office recently released certain confidential files relating to the Abdication of
King Edward VIII in December 1936.

Among them were documents which appear to be diaries kept during the period by Mrs Wallis Simpson.

Expertly edited by 'Helen Batting', these diaries provide a brilliantly revelatory insight into the thoughts and lifestyle of a woman who was accused of "setting out to steal the Throne of England". They also give us a fascinating glimpse at one of the most significant years in the history of the British Royal Family.

"Wallis was a gold-digger or prospector of the evening, who never used a fossicking dish or pick to pan her pay dirt." as said by a contemporary of Wallis from her home town of Baltimore, writing at the time of the Abdication, as recorded in MEPO/10/35 file 17098 in the PRO

Denied AccessDenied Access

by Dave Chick

The first line of the Children Act of 1989 claims that "the best interests of the child are to be considered paramount". It sounds great in theory, but why does it leaves thousands of fathers and children isolated and in despair?

David Chick's story will shock and surprise you. It will make you angry and it will make you sad. It might even make you worried. Like all of us, he believed that the law was there to protect him. But when he needed it, he found the law was against him. His crime? Being a father - he was there when his daughter was born. She was a normal child, he was a loving dad.

How was it that a few years later, he found himself risking his life, hanging high above London dressed as Spiderman? Sometimes, to be a good dad, you have to be prepared to stand up and be counted. David Chick stood up in the name of his daughter, in the name of the children who deserve the right to see their father.

From Paradise to EdenFrom Paradise to Eden

by Dulcie Matthews

"As my grandchildren grew up, I told them tales about a wartime childhood, of bombs, shelters and rationed sweets. They loved them so much that I started writing them down."

From Paradise to Eden is skilfully written, capturing the essence of a bygone time, the minutiae of everyday wartime life, the joys and fears experienced. The book opens in the present day, with the author looking out over the green hills of the Valley of Eden, and beautifully transitions backwards through time to where a small girl is experiencing the 1940 Blitz of Coventry in an area named Paradise.

This book successfully recaptures a time of values and comradeship now gone, a time when people mattered more than materialism. From Paradise to Eden is a social history and an informative insight into a crucial period of our collective past.

"I loved it! It catches beautifully the flavour of that period and expresses the emotion trapped inside many situations." Margaret Forster, author.
