- Ad hoc consultancy at £50 per hour to discuss self-publishing and self-selling

- Standard consultation* costs £200 and you get:
- 1 ½ hour meeting to discuss you and your book, and answer your questions; the remaining time is invested in my analysis and writing up the outcome of our discussion
- Identifying the book brand and author brand ie. how you should talk about your book to gain initial cut-through when approaching media and bookshops
- a list of activities that you will need to cover off during the pre- launch and launch phase

*The standard consultation may be at any time ie.
(i) before you have written the manuscript or before you self-publish it
(ii) you are transitioning from POD to re-launching on a longer print run
(iii) you have evidence of market demand and wish to sell rights

- Add fire-power to your pre-launch activity:
- Create a database, including personal contacts you may have, to launch-by-area or to a nominated community or target group
- Creation of relevant press release to that area or target group
- Work with you to create optimal promotional material
- Submission of press release to agreed database. This includes us making two follow-up phone calls before passing it onto yourself to pursue if you believe there is value in doing so
- Promote the book to the trade which comprises a wholesaler, libraries and major chain book-buyers
- Implement a mail-out to independent book buyers

- Promotion to rights buyers:
- Inclusion onto the Indebookshop site, promoting the book to the national and international rights buyers.
- This includes the creation of a fact sheet of commercial sales data and endorsements collated to date based on information provided to us.
- Once your book is on our site, we can also fulfil any direct orders placed for which we take 35%.
